Forever French: interview with Sébastien Bras

“Step Up to the Plate” is the last documentary by Paul Lacoste who for ten years documented the French creative cuisine. Ten years after directing a movie about Michel Bras, head chef of Le Suquet, a 3 stars restaurant in the heart of the Aubrac Region, Paul Lacoste allow us to visit again Le Suquet’s kitchens: this time to watch Michel handing over the business to his son Sébastien.

It’s obviously a movie about food and about a French culinary region. But most of all, about a relationship between a son and his father. Is it possible to pass on one’s life work? Is it easy for a son to make a name for itself?

We had the chance to talk with Sébastien Bras last week. Listen to his interview in French here: Interview with Sébastien Bras

And if you want to win a double pass for Step Up to the Plate, just listen to Forever French on Wednesday November 28 from 8 pm to 9.30.
