HHT Sydney Open 2012: see our city in a whole new light!

Have you ever wondered what the inside of Sydney’s Parliament House looked like? What about at Central Station, did you even know that there are ghost platforms and tunnels down below? We have so many beautiful, old and historic buildings in Sydney, all of which have a story to tell.

Thanks to Sydney Open 2012 you will be given a chance to explore the untold stories behind this unique architecture as you’re given the chance to visit many of the often unseen sights of the city.

This much anticipated weekend starts on Friday November 2 at Sydney Open night, a free event from 6pm until 9pm (bookings not necessary). You will be given behind-the-scenes access to five of Sydney’s most historical buildings including Parliament House and St James’ Church. Click HERE for a full list of buildings, as well as opening times.

Delve further into these fascinating stories on Saturday November 3 for the Focus Tours. These guided tours are led by the people behind the stories: the architects and owners. Tickets are selling fast, to find out more head HERE

Day three is the day you get a VIP pass to the city. A City Pass will give you access to 50 of Sydney’s greatest buildings as you’re invited to explore further. The city is yours for the day as Sydney Open will provide a map to assist. See HERE for ticketing purchases and more information.

This exclusive weekend is one not to miss for Sydneysiders. It’s a great way to learn more and appreciate the beauty of our city.
