Fuser Production is a new company and their debut work, Intact, is set to open in Redfern on Wednesday 26 May.

Paul chats to founder, Cecile Playet, and co-deviser and performer, Steve Lu, about this contemporary dance work based on the story of a soldier returning from war. The work combines character, movement, music and story and explores how we have to reinvent and adapt to extreme challenges.

The season runs to 27 June at Woodford Creatives, 1 Woodford St. Redfern.

Lina Tesoriero: Is it Worth It?

Lina Tesoriero has an exhibition entitled Musings at the Waverely Library Galleries. Lina discusses with Anthony what brought her to her fist solo show. Her use of clever collage techniques challenges gender binaries and subverts meanings by placing iconic figures in disparate settings.

The exhibition runs until Thursday 27 May, with a celebratory closing drinks.

This is a free event but numbers will be restricted under Covid regulations.

Read Anthony’s review of the exhibition here.

Also Nick Hardcastle, Festival Director of Short + Sweet, joins us to preview what is on this week at the ‘World’s Biggest Little Festival’. The festival of 10 minute plays runs until August 22 at the Tom Mann Theatre in Surry Hills.

Nick is offering 2 double passes to listeners in this week’s show.
