Jazz Action Society and the Mark Barnsley Quartet

The Jazz Action Society and Eastside Radio proudly presents the Mark Barnsley Quartet.

This unique one off concert will be held on Wednesday the 26th of September at the Paddington RSL, located at 220-232 Oxford Street opposite Paddington Town Hall, which also happens to be the home of Eastside Radio. The night will also feature a special screening of excerpts from “The Story of Jazz” featuring Ella, Parker, Tony Bennett and Dizzy Gillespie.

Well known jazz trombonist Mark Barnsley has been performing with international and Australian artists over the last several years. He has been sharing his talent on national television shows, in movie soundtracks, jingles and in various professional theatre show productions. Don’t miss the chance to see him live on stage.

Ray Cassar is not only know for his trumpet playing but also for being an accomplished jazz pianist.

Having studied jazz performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Christian Young has played with many diverse artists, as well as with many commercial and pop bands.

Jason Isaac is one of Sydney’s most versatile young musicians. He has been playing professionally across a broad range of styles since he was 17 and brings a unique blend of energy, experience and sensitivity to any musical situation.
