JAZZGROOVE for kids

Jazzgroove is putting the singing and dancing back into jazz with the help of the Musica Viva in Schools Allstars Jazz Band. Showcasing the music of Ornette Coleman, Sun Ra and Harry Belafonte, this special event is a unique opportunity to enjoy the music you love music with your family in a kid-friendly zone. The event will take place at the Redfern Town Hall and people are encouraged to bring a picnic and their sense of fun.

Featuring two performances, one at 9:30 and the other at 11:00, there’s no need to worry about sleeping in. The Musica Viva in Schools Allstars Jazz Band is an exciting collaborative Sydney ensemble featuring members of  the Sousaphonics; John Hibbard and Evan Mannell mixing it up with other musicians including Zoe Hauptman of Zoe and the Buttercups.
