Joan Osborne Tour 2017

Joan Osborne has rightfully earned a reputation as one of the great voices of her generation — both a commanding, passionate performer and a frank, emotionally evocative songwriter.

The seven-time Grammy Award nominee and “One of Us” singer has sold millions of records and captivated audiences all over the world with her live performances.  Known for her pristine and heartfelt live vocals, Osborne has enjoyed a successful career as a solo artist and a collaborator with such artists as Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Luciano Pavarotti, Mavis Staples, Emmylou Harris, Taj Mahal, Levon Helm, the Funk Brothers, Phil Lesh, and the Holmes Brothers.

“Love and Hate is particularly satisfying in that it delivers on—and extends—the promise made by her wonderful debut so many years ago.” –Pop Matters

Of her recent work, Osborne says, “There’s a texture and richness to these songs that singers don’t have right away, that I didn’t have when I started out, but the more I’ve done this, the more tone and depth I’ve developed. This was the time.  These songs, they’re a remedy—they get me out of my head.  These songs put the music back in my heart and my soul.” Osborne’s acoustic trio is a chance to intimately experience this richness.
