Joe Bonamassa is back with Tour de Force
Joe Bonamassa has exploded back onto the scene with the release of his box set Tour de Force which features concerts in club scene The Borderline all the way to the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.
This week Eastside Radio is giving away the complete Tour de Force boxset to one lucky listener!
Joe’s reputation as one of the worlds best blues guitarists is growing every day. His charismatic sound and soulful performances have awarded him much acclaim by his peers. Recently he was nominated for a Grammy award for his collaboration with Beth Hart for their album Seesaw.
He also had eleven #1 Billboard Blues Albums (which is more than any other artist ever).
Born on May 8th 1977 in NY, Bonamassa’s recording career took off in the 90’s with a rock group called Bloodlines that also feature Robby Krieger’s son Waylon and Miles Davis’ son Erin.
His first solo album debuted in 2000 and was called A New Day Yesterday. Produced by Tom Dowd, the album was a critical success, being called “a jaw-dropping performance” by allmusic.com.
Tour de Force is a compilation of concerts with different bands and different songs by Bonamassa. The set was complied so that each album has a different feel and shows off a different angle of Bonamassa’s awesome talent.
Check out a performance of “Mountain Time” performed at The Royal Albert Hall with Bonamassa and the band!
