Joseph Tawadros at The Randwick Town Hall

International Oud virtuoso and composer Joseph Tawadros will be appearing for one night only at the Randwick Town Hall on the 24th of February. He is joined by his brother, percussionist James Tawadros, and Matt McMahon, one of Australia’s finest jazz pianists. This unique lineup represents a fusion of the modern jazz form with traditional Arabic instrumentation and technique, creating a sound like no other.

Joseph has been playing alongside his brother for quite a while now – together they have received worldwide acclaim, performing in some of the world’s most prestigious venues with celebrated artists such as Zakir Hussain, Jack DeJohnette, Richard Tognetti and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

If you’re looking for an extraordinary musical experience, be sure to check out this remarkable trio for a rare performance on Australian soil. Eastside Radio will also be giving away a couple of free passes – just listen to Fuse, on Wednesdays at 6:30 for a chance to win.
