Kylie Auldist hits The Basement this Saturday 17th November

Kylie Auldist’s new record ‘Still Life’ was Eastside’s Album of the Week just a few short weeks ago. With her third album she inspires not just with her natural feel for soul and funk, but also plays with disco and reggae sounds. You can see her shake it all out live this weekend at The Basement, Sydney.

With her remarkable voice, she recorded her first song at the age of six. After her early start she later moved to Melbourne, where she performed with several funk bands, including Polyester and Mega Bias, and has provided studio and live backing vocals for music legends such as Renee Geyer and Jimmy Barnes.

She has toured with funk icons The Bamboos through Australia and beyond, all the way to Brighton, UK, where top shelf label Tru Thoughts snapped her up, stunned by her charismatic performance.

Kyie’s debut album ‘Just Stay’ was released in April 2008, quickly followed by the sophomore  ‘Made of Stone’ in August 2009. Her tracks are played all over the world and have gained national radio playlisting in France and Australia.

Following European tours with The Bamboos and Cooking on 3 Burners, and a sold out Bamboos tour of Australia, Kylie proudly presents her glorious third album ‘Still Life’. Check it out and get tickets to her show this Saturday HERE
