Green shoots are appearing in the Arts sector as Covid-19 restrictions begin to ease.

With the Museum of Contemporary Art opening its doors to the public from 16 June, MCA Director Liz Ann Macgregor joins us to talk about what social distancing will be in place and what’s on for visitors to see. Highlights include Artistic Director, Brook Andrew’s extraordinary 22nd Biennale of Sydney:NIRIN.

Also newly appointed Co-Artistic Director at the Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Amylia Harris, has devised an innovative solution to getting theatre fans back in the Eternity Playhouse. What’s on offer is a series of intimate dinner and cabaret shows for just 6 tables of 4 patrons at a time, billed as “soulful evenings of food, story and song”. You can find details for Red Carpet Cabaret including the performer lineup from the link.

The Company is also planning resuming rehearsals of the postponed production of A Chorus Line, with an imminent announcement of a date for opening night.
