Medium Vinyl Opens Friday

Music and visual art combine in the opening of Medium Vinyl, an exhibition featuring 150 artists from around the world presenting original works on a common medium, vinyl records.  Because of its theme the exhibit will have DJ’s Neil Hume, Westernsynthetics, Savage Gee, and Size 13 performing on the opening night May 21st.  Continuing this relationship of music and visual art is a performance art and experimental music collaboration eventsound series on May 28^th, and another performance for the final night on June 12^th.

The gallery will also include an indoor record market, for collectors or admirers to peruse and purchase with a turntable for sampling.

Medium Vinyl will be at the Hardware Gallery from Friday 21^st May- 12^th June 2010.
