Money Killed Jonny with Sound of Koko at Lazybones Lounge
This is it, a night of delectable music, understated cool, sweet ambiance, dance and good times…..
Money Killed Jonny are back at Lazybones Lounge Sunday 19 November. Roots, blues, jazz, folk, world beats guitars, sax, trumpet, double bass and percussion. The result is Soul, Psychedelic Jazz, Blues and Roots with exploration of World beats, rhythms and melodic twists.
Music as original as their name with a delicious vibe, a whole lot of groove and insightful brilliantly crafted lyrics.
“Miles Davis meets Midnight Oil.”
“Love the moody, cinematic sheen.”
“Swampy, post-midnight husk.”
“Killer tune and fantastic vocal!” Some of the comments from media such as ABC FM and UK bloggers. And then proving their music is way better than their hype: “This band is the best kept secret in Sydney.”
Starting off the night will be Sound of Koko in trio format performing tribal inspired acoustic soulful fusion with a splash of hip hop.
Basically a night that is just going to be a little bit amazing.
