Super Sistas Part 2! Following my last super sista show, i just had so many tunes that wouldn’t fit I thought i’d feature them in tonight’s show, especially as i had soul sista Alphamama join me in the studio. So lovely to meet her, we talked about her music, upbringing, influences, her EP Alphamama that she released earlier this year & the very exciting show she’s performing with her ensemble of funky musicians & DJs on Thursday 10th November as part of Eastside Radio’s new monthly live music night “Eastside Live @ 505”. I’ll be supporting her spinning some more funky, souful tunes on the decks & the whole event will be streaming live from 7.30-11pm on Eastside Radio too. It’s gonna be an AWESOME night, so please head on down to 505 on Cleveland st Surry Hills from 7.30 till late. $15 adults & $10 concession/Eastside Radio supporters.
