Night at the Jazz Rooms meets Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club Sydney!!
The Jazz Rooms return to The Basement, Sydney on Saturday February 2nd for a one off intergalactic Funk and Soul extravaganza!
Premiering in his first Australian appearance is DJ Craig Charles (Red Dwarf, Coronation Street, BBC6 Soul & Funk Show), who will be playing an array of funk and soul; anything from classics to latest hits.
He will be joined by Dojo Cuts feat Roxie Ray: a six piece band that combine crisp, tight, funky instrumentals with killer vocals by Roxie Ray that are in equal parts power and grit. Inspired by the sounds of the 60s and 70s, combined with elements of modern funk, Dojo Cuts create timeless, classic feel-good music
The Liberators will also be playing some of their crowd pleasing afrobeat tracks that are influenced by funky sounds from around the world to create unique melodies.
Also on this stellar line up is Russ Dewbury and Jorge Monteil, each with distinct jazzy sounds of theirown that will be the perfect backdrop to a fun night out of live music.
