Director, Iain Sinclair and Author and Poet, Libby Hathorn are my guests today. My first guest, Iain Sinclair chats about Of Mice And Men – written by Nobel Prize winning author, John Steinbeck and adapted for the stage. The play brings to life a compelling tale of friendship and survival during the despairing times of the Great Depression and remains relevant to our contemporary climate of economic, political and moral ambiguities.

This week we present Episode Two in our series on Australian Poets – Old & New with author and poet, Libby Hathorn. Our second episode features Dorothea Mackellar (1885 – 1968) who is best known for her poem ‘My Country’. Dorothea Mackellar’s verse is now regarded by many Australians as the universal statement of our Nation’s connection to the land.
