Paddington Art Market

The new Paddington Art Market will arrive on Sunday 14 September.

Jacaranda in bloom over park bench, in Paddington.

Nothing makes us happier here at Eastside than to see local outlets for artistic expression blossoming, especially when it helps with livening up Oxford Street and its surrounds.

On Sundays, starting from 14 September, the Barracks will be hosting a space for local artists to exhibit their work for sale. You can wander into the beautiful foregrounds of the old Victoria Barracks, and find something unique to take home. Who knows what will appear, and could be yours?

The market is an initiative of Woollahra Municipal Council, in collaboration with City of Sydney Council, as part of the program for the revitalisation of Oxford Street. A brand new meeting place is being created for local artists to connect with art lovers.

Applications are still open to become a stall holder. After there has been a chance to gauge the interest level of exhibiting artists, a decision will be make about whether to hold the event weekly or monthly.

Supported through the Woollahra Council Community and Cultural Grants Program.
