Pamela Pauline: City and Surf at Juniper Hall
During this August, Juniper Hall, in association with the Moran Arts Foundation, will be showing a new exhibition to celebrate the exquisite photographic works of Australian artist Pamela Pauline.
A finalist of the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize Finalist in 2014, Pauline is known for her intense love of photography in all mediums. Whether it be portraiture or landscape, she always produces the most amazing scenes that showcase the city and surf to its full potential.
Born in the State of Wyoming in the USA, Pamela has always described herself as ‘the ultimate documenter of life’, with ‘many scrapbooks to prove it’. Her passion for photography grew from being a hobby to being a part of her life, having recorded many parts of her life through photography.
After attending University and studying something she describes as ‘sensible at the time’, she spent a few years dabbling in the world of computer science and making a life for herself. However, after marriage and three children, Pamela decided it was time to seize back her true love in life; photography!
Thus, Pamela Pauline Photography was created in 2003.
Her photography grew to become natural and artistic in nature, with a relaxed feeling behind them. They have shown off our city and beaches to their full potential.
With her family, Pamela has travelled all over the world, living in different places and capturing her work as they travelled along. The family spent many years living in Indonesia and India, where she lived and worked very successfully. While living in New Delhi, Pamela together with a New Delhi based travel consultant developed a range of photographic postcards and stationary products for the tourism market in India. These ranges are also available for purchase in Sydney.
The exhibition will be held at Juniper Hall starting this Saturday the 1st of August and will run until Sunday the 30th of August. For more information, please head to the Juniper Hall website here.
