Shivanjani Lal was Sylvia’s guest on Arts Wednesday 22 January 2020, talking about her participation in Wansolwara: one salt water, the latest exhibition at the UNSW galleries. Shivanjabi’s works explore history and identity: her personal history and identity as an Australian, Fijian whose ancestral home is in India, that of her family, her community of Indians who came to Fiji as indentured labour to work the sugar plantations and that of her country of birth, Fiji.
