What are the best international models for heritage tourism and how can they be applied to Australia?

Last Year, Dr Caroline Butler-Bowden, was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to explore visitor experiences at heritage sites across 5 countries, 18 cities, 24 museums and 27 historic sites.

Join me, Maisy Stapleton, to learn from Caroline’s acute insight into places ranging from ancient sites (The Roman Baths in Bath, England) to contemporary art and Danish Culture at Louisiana, outside Copenhagen, Denmark.

This is essential listening for anyone interested in heritage and cultural tourism – or for the traveller who would like to gain insight into some of the best-managed heritage and cultural sites in the world.

Caroline Butler-Bowdon is Director, Strategy & Engagement at Sydney Living Museums and is on secondment for the next three months as acting Executive Director, Public Spaces in the Department of Planning, Industry & Environment.
