Window, Cricket Bat is a performance developed for the exhibition Happy Objects now on show at the Australian Design Centre.

The exhibition celebrates the power of objects to link us to people and places, ideas and memories.

Written by Hilary Bell, Window, Cricket Bat is a collaboration between Griffin Theatre and the Australian Design Centre, and is presented within the exhibition space at the ADC’s William Street Galleries. Window, Cricket Bat is directed by Jennifer Rani with actor Lucia Mastrantone.

Arts Thursday’s Maisy Stapleton talks to playwright Hilary Bell about the inspiration for this short play, where audience members find themselves at the table of a famous playwright and his equally eminent guests, with a few unexpected happenings!
