Songs of Home with Sylvia Rosenblum

Sylvia’s guest on Arts Wednesday 14 August 2019 was Dr Matthew Stephens, curator of Songs of Home, the latest exhibition at the Museum of Sydney.

The conversation took an idiosyncratic walk through the exhibition, via 8 of the 60 music tracks you can hear when you visit. The tracks were selected by Matthew and range from the song Bennelong and Yammerawanne sang in London in1793 to a contemporary approach to the theme of Songs of Home by an Anglo-Australian folk group.
