Radical Son heads a fine line-up at Soul Vibes, Blue Beat this Saturday
Sydney-born David Clive is the outstanding vocalist behind powerful soul/reggae/hip hop outfit Radical Son. Fronting a skilled group of musicians, David (aka Radical Son) is bringing his powerful live show to Blue Beat in Double Bay on Saturday April 20 for the inaugural Soul Vibes.
Delving deep into his Indigenous roots in the Kamilaroi nation and the south pacific island of Tonga, Radical Son’s songs are the vehicle for poignant stories and a heartfelt vision of the world. With a delivery that shuttles between delicate vulnerability and force, these songs are infused with a solid commitment to raw, beautiful music.
Aiming to use his music to force positive change for his community and the nation, Clive has been involved in numerous projects aimed at increasing the range of opportunities available to the Indigenous community.
A night of live music specialising in neo-soul, hip-hop, groove, reggae, roots and good vibes, Radical Son will be joined by Moa, DJs Jonah and Triptrix from West Labz Sound and the Jay Dee Soul tribute band Dilla Cypher.
