Short Courses at the Sydney Conservatorium
The Conservatorium Open Academy have developed an opportunity that allows adults to be challenged and inspired in the world of music and the Sydney Conservatorium’s vibrant culture.
It is a program offering many short courses that are designed to give adults the right tools to pursue their musical interests. Whether you are looking for a creative outlet or planning on taking your music more seriously, the programme supports all ambitions as it includes music theory, composition, improvisation, instrumental and vocal performance.

The programme offers courses in a variety of areas including music foundations, singing, instrumental, ensemble, music technology and music business. Don’t worry if you’re a complete beginner in one of these areas with a curiosity to learn more or you are an experienced musician and wanting to expand your knowledge, the courses cater for all abilities.
There are four terms throughout the year with the short courses taking one term to complete. The Summer term starts on February 2nd and there are still places available on certain courses, so hurry up and ENROL.
