Small World Festival 2015
To celebrate all things local and exciting, the Small World Festival is returning this September to fire up Sydney Park with incredible music, food and beverages from Sydney based companies.
The Small World Festival is a celebration of all things good about Sydney’s inner west and beyond. As a part of the Sydney Fringe Festival, the show will play host to some of the best local live music Sydney has to offer. The line up for the festival is as follows:
The Church
DZ Deathrays
PVT
Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders
PALMS
All Our Exes Live In Texas
Bon Voyage
Summer Flake
Green Buzzard
The Lulu Raes
Local Artist Showcase (presented by Visions)
Only the best in local food and drink outlets were picked to feed the lovely showgoers. Food will be prepared by Porteno, Mary’s, Bloodwood, Black Betty BBQ and Cornersmith. The food will range from BBQ extravaganzas to seafood sensations and can be paired up with some awesome beers and spirits to accompany your meal made by the up and coming brewery Young Henrys.
The Small World Festival will be held amongst the iconic chimneys and brick kilns of the former Bedford Brickworks that now are covered in lush grassy areas and rolling hills with parkways and a lovely view of the wetlands at Sydney Park.
Getting to the festival will be a bit tricky so the organisers have recommended that all patrons travel to the show by bus or other public transport. The festival website have suggested some bus routes that get you to Sydney Park easily and without the hassle of having to try find a car park.
