Something Else 10 December – Favourite Fictions
The year is coming to a close – what were our favourite literary treasures over 2010?
Today’s guest was Sam Twyford-Moore, an emerging young writer who has a swagfull of literary credentials. He has had his fiction published in such places as Overland and The UTS Writers’ Anthology and his non-fiction has appeared in Meanjin and The Reader. He co-edited/created the journal Cutwater.
Today we also played a long spoken word piece – Josephine Rowe’s “Elaborate Maple Anchor”, from Going Down Swinging No. 30. It is a beautiful piece from a beautiful edition of a magazine that is pretty darn good looking under normal circumstances.
