Soundgun Album Launch @ 505

Soundgun is back this Saturday night the 18th of October at Venue 505 in Sydney!

The trio use contemporary compositions from an array of genres as a platform from which to create fine piano trio music. The results are focused, contemplative journey-songs displaying the formidable improvising talents of the members of the trio along with precise, empathetic ensemble playing.

Tom O’Halloran (piano), Jonathan Zwartz (upright bass) and Evan Mannell (drum set) are launching their debut self titled recording in a rare live performance and will be joined on the night by long time collaborator Tina Harrod, whose powerful and soulful voice will augment the band in the second set.

So don’t miss the opportunity to see this trio have a nice and entertaining evening, enjoying “dreamy, furious, melancholic and exuberant music, riding waves of meditative calm all the way through to febrile intensity” (NME).
