Sounds Of Soul chronicles and playlist (6.12.2013): Soul kringle
Just as much as I have ranted about certain aspects of the silly season in last week’s chronicles I’d like to dwell on the positive sides of Xmas. In addition to the obvious joys of the Christmas time, like the smell of fresh vinyl when unwrapping 7 inch sized presents for example, it’s also the time to give – to your favorite community radio station in this case. Like the last couple of years we are running a Xmas Supporter Drive where we ask our listeners to become a supporter of this great station, thus contributing to its continued existence and ongoing development. Such a present wouldn’t be totally unselfish of course, because as always in such cases Radio Eastside has provided many valuable prizes and it’s also the only gift that gives back all year if you tune into 89.7FM.
