Eastside is calling out to our listeners to speak up about the station!

Eastside Radio exists to give voice to the people and places in our community with 74 specialist music, arts and local community programs. We are a not-for-profit community radio station broadcasting to the most densely populated and culturally diverse area in Australia… the City of Sydney and Eastern Suburbs…

HAVANA RAKATANTHE CUBAN DANCE SPECTACULAR from the heart of Cuba.

Sensual rumba, to sizzling salsa and the slick footwork of the cha cha cha, the intoxicating rhythms will take you on a captivating journey through a truly unique country. Set to live music courtesy of Son band Turquino, the authentic heart and soul of Cuba comes alive on stage – featuring authentic African beats to popular tunes including the famous Chan Chan (signature song of the Buena Vista Social Club). With flamboyant costumes and exuberant personalities, 14 dancers rip up the dance floor. This high-energy music and dance spectacular will “have you bouncing in your seat”. Runs from 7 June.

The Hughenden Hotel

Established in 1870, this gracious historic hotel is at the gateway to the antiques and art galleries of Woollahra, in our Eastern Suburbs. Just down the road from the Eastside studios, the team at Hughenden hotel feel strongly about community and interact with regular exhibitions and lectures.
