James has been presenting Spirit House on Eastside Radio with various co-presenters, currently John and Neil. John, James and Neil draw from their vast collections and knowledge of inventive jazz/rock/improvisation/experimental music from the 1960s to the present day. In one program you may hear anything from Don Cherry to Fela Kuti, Mary Halvorson to Peter Brotzmann, to Sun Ra, to the Necks. Much loved labels include Blue Note, Impulse, ECM, FMP, and many more.
