Spring Cycle in Sydney
This Sunday cyclists will be taking over Sydney as part of the 29th annual Spring Cycle . The event is an opportunity for riders of all levels to come together and experience our beautiful city in a way usually reserved only for those on four wheels.
Imagine cruising over the main deck of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and down the Cahill Express Way along Macquarie Street and all the way down to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. Well this Sunday is your chance!
Whether you’re a contender for the Tour de France of more of a Sunday rider there is a route to suite you. For the super fit there is the 50km option, or for those looking for something a little more relaxed and family friendly there is the 15km course .
1. The City Ride (part of the Sydney Rides Festival)
2. The Classic Ride (part of the Festival of Cycling)
At the end of each ride there is a community festival, The City Ride will end at the Pyrmont Festival Finish and The Classic Ride at the Olympic Park Festival Finish . Enjoy the rest of the afternoon strolling amongst food stalls while listening to live music from great local acts. Also on offer is free bike parking as well as bike mechanics.
