Support Lily Dior!

Lily Dior, one of our fabulous presenters here at Eastside has a brand new album, but before she can put it out there she needs your help! Lily’s launched a campaign at Pozible where you can pre purchase your own signed copy of her album, get some VIP tickets to her launch, download some unreleased tracks and a bunch of other cool things!

The wonderful Miss Lily Dior needs to raise $10,000 before she can bring to you lovely people a film clip, a world tour and other independently financed projects for her new music. She’s already raised just over four thousand dollars, but now she’s turning to you for the rest!

Australian journalist Bruce Elder once said of Lily Dior ‘if you see only one local band this year, make sure you catch this shimmering and wonderful soul funk act’,  so make sure you can do that and donate much needed cash!

Lily’s life is something of a musician’s dream, for the first five years of her life Lily travelled around the world with her parents, who were professional musicians, before settling in Australia and ever since she’s been wowing audiences with her fluid vocals and ability to give a piece of herself to audiences through song.

As a teenager Lily was discovered by the late, great Jackie Orszaczky and from that she became a member of soul outfit The Godmothers. But she didn’t stop there, after leaving The Godmothers she went on to travel the world, bringing her amazingly smooth voice to audiences everywhere, as well as performing at some amazing festivals right here in Australia!

Don’t just take our word for it though, national music writer and reviewer Tony Hillier once said that Lily ‘possesses a warm, flexible voice that lends itself equally well to interpreting a warm ballad, swinging hard or belting out an up-tempo piece’.
