Sydney Con International Jazz Festival

Boasting world-class performance spaces nestled in the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music throws open its doors to an all-day jazz festival featuring over 100 artists in 26 events over 5 venues.

The Sydney Conservatorium International Jazz Festival showcases the crème of the Australian jazz scene in collaborative performances with international artists, new work premieres and workshops and lectures that feature an outstanding array of artists and music educators.

The Festival will feature the debut of the Australian National Jazz Orchestra with Mat Jodrell and Roger Manins, Sydney Womens Jazz Collective plus guest artist Sandy Evans, Phil Slater’s new quintet, Hieronymus Trio led by Emma Stephenson, Jo Lawry Quartet, and performances from Armenia pianist Tigran Hamasyan, American saxophonists Will Vinson and Tal Cohen Quintet featuring Greg Osby and dynamic American drummer Jim Black.

The Festival will take place on Sunday 4 June at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Events start from 9am.
