One of the first events of the Festival is Fair Day, always a hit with families and their pooches. Expect politics, food, fashion, music and a little bit of mayhem.
Another popular event is Queer Art After Hours at the NSW Gallery. Discover the ground-breaking and the glamorous in an program of innovative performance art, installations, collection stories, music and gallery tours inspired by this year’s theme of UNITED WE SHINE.
For theatre goers, don’t miss Breaking the Code, which portrays the story of Alan Turing, an intelligence codebreaker at UK’s Bletchley Park during WWII.
Even though the Party has been cancelled this year, there is a plethora of smaller parties on offer.
Hyde Park Barracks is presenting an evening of live music, ideas, installations and discussions.
