Sydney Harmony

Sydney HarmonyEastside Arts’ Dr Margaux Dombkins spoke with Tony Sykes, founding member of Sydney Harmony – an all-male a cappella choir that is internationally acclaimed for its unique ‘barbershop’ style 4-part a cappella harmony. Now in its 16th year, the 35-strong chorus of ‘amateurs with good voices’ performs regularly and competes nationally and internationally – being judged small chorus champions at the 2014 Pan Pacific contest, and chorus champions at this year’s 2015 Barbershop Harmony Australia’s Eastern Region contest.
