Sydney Opera House: Homeground 2014

HG_Event_570x320_v2_8To celebrate our First Nations music, culture and dance, the Sydney Opera House will Host a FREE two day festival over the weekend of 5th to the 6th of April along the Western Broadwalk.

Beginning with a opening ceremony, the International line up the lineup over two stages (dance and music stage) has something for everyone with music from Gaelic harmonies to R&B. Within this amazing lineup, there are iconic Australian musicians Shellie Morris and Shane Howard, modern dance fusions from Move it Mob Style, playwright Tony Brandy,  Indigenous hip-hop from the Street Worries, Casey Donovan and many more.

If this does not entice you enough there will be multiple Pop up Bar and Eats.  From the team behind one of Bondi’s favourite dinning locations, the Corner House restaurant, will provide a fresh and flavoursome pared-back Mediterranean bar in the Western Foyer. In addition, there is also the wonderful mainstay Opera House eaters to grab something to eat and a drink.
