Sydney Writers’ Festival – How to Live?
Sydney Story Factory Director, Cath Keenan joined Dr Margaux Dombkins on Arts Monday discussing ‘The Simple Act Of Reading’ at the Sydney Writers’ Festival – Australia’s largest celebration of literature, stories and ideas.
The theme of this year’s Sydney Writers’ Festival is ‘How to Live?’ – Where do we find a sense of purpose and how should we best live our lives.
“Everything has been figured out, except how to live” – Jean-Paul Sartre
The SWF program of over 400 writers will help to make sense of the world, exploring ideas of happiness, grief, spirituality, ageing,
and mortality. Catherine (Cath) Keenan is co-founder and executive director of the Sydney Story Factory, a not-for-profit creative writing centre for young people in Redfern.
