The all-new Sydney Music Space coming to life in the CBD
With iconic Sydney live music venues closing down seemingly every few weeks, it’s always reassuring to hear of a brand new venue right in the heart of the city.
Promising to showcase local, national and international live rock, jazz, funk, indie, and bluegrass bands, three nights a week, The City of Sydney RSL’s new live music venue, Sydney Music Space, is launching this Friday the 2nd of November.
Featuring at the Grand Opening is Australia’s hardest-working instrumental act, The Subterraneans, and their original blend of rock, jazz, funk, and reggae, the launch of Sydney Music Space is not an event you’ll want to miss!
This legendary high-class act will be a perfect fit to launch this very promising new home for live music in the City of Sydney, having won the 2011 Australian Jazz Bell Award for their self-titled debut album and with a string of residencies at some of Sydney’s best live music venues this year.
Look out for more incredible live acts to follow, including the sultry Anna Salleh and her band playing a perfect collection of honey-smooth Brazilian bosa nova and ballads on November 3rd.
