The Cantabile Trio Concert at Waverley Library

On Sunday the 8th of March, Waverley Library invites you to an afternoon celebrating all things women in music. The Cantabile Trio will be performing pieces from some of the best female composers, including Clara Schumann, Elena Kats-Chernin, Pauline Viardot and Louise Farrenc.

The trio features the musical stylings of Elizabeth Mitchelmore on violin, Josephine Contantino on cello and Rachel Valler on piano.

The concert has been organized to coincide with International Women’s Day. This concert has been specifically appointed to showcase the talent of women in both musical performance and composing.

International Women’s Day plays out in events around Australia that brings awareness to women and the issues that they face. This concert is one of many events going on in the first week of March to celebrate IWD.

Tickets: no bookings are required, tickets at $10 at the door, $8 for concession.
