It’s ON! Our annual supporter drive is off to a flying start with Ken Weatherley on Jammin’ Sunday and Voice of India’s inaugural radiothon edition rousing their loyal listeners to hop on and support Eastside.
Over 70,000 people listen to Eastside every week and now, with online streaming, we’re seeing over 25,000 hits on this site each month. Are you one of these highly evolved beings? If so, thank you! Every supporter is of importance to us here at Eastside; each contribution helps keep us on air, commercial-free and unbridled by advertisers’ demands.
This year we’ve been able to give the studios a much-needed makeover, allowing us to broadcast your favourite shows and music at a higher quality than ever before in our near 30 year history. We’ve been able to launch online streaming, strengthen the signal and put on unique events such as Live at 505, Pop-up Radio with Vivid Sydney and many more. We’ve also taken on responsibility for the iconic Jazz Action Society. None of it would have been possible without a dedicated team of nearly 150 volunteers and the generous support of our listeners.
This year we have more prizes than ever: $15,000 dollars’ worth!
