Howard Cairns Quintet – Compression
The second original compositions album from Howard Cairns after his 2009 Jazzhead release Newell Waltz. Compression is an independent release from the Melbourne bassist and it seems him portray jazz with elements of calypso and waltz.

Steven Rossitto – Night & Day
This young man from man from Melbourne (He’s still only 18!) has got one cracker voice! This, his debut album, sees Steven Rossitto belt out classic after classic with a stellar band behind him as well. An album for those who love their Frank Sinatra and big sound classics!

Nick Waterhouse – Time’s All Gone
Nick Waterhouse has brought back the true style of Rhythm & Blues music. Fully recorded onto magnetic tape and then mastered straight onto mono, the album has a classic vintage feel, but at the same time sounds fresh.

Various Artists – Big Village: Big Things Volume Two…
The second installment of the Big Things series by Big Village Records features the likes of Ellesquire, Daily Meds, True Vibenation and Loose Change. The style of Hip Hop ranges from electronic, big bass heavy beats, and funky. The Daily Meds particularly stand out.
