Craig Scott Quintet – Timeline

A new release on Rufus Records, The Craig Scott quintet is Craig Scott on bass, Warwick Alder on trumpet, Paul Cutlan on saxophones, Tim Firth on drums and Tim Fisher on piano. Featuring all original compositions by Craig Scott, the album ranges from slow ballads to up tempo modern jazz music.

Ben Carr Trio – St Art

The sophomore album from the Ben Carr Trio is a conceptual piece of modern jazz music as Ben on saxophone, Leigh Barker on bass and Phil Collings on drums continue their chord less, Saxophone led unit.

This 7 piece band from The Blue Mountains are an exciting band! Their cool and new take on Funk music is a breath of fresh air as they blend it with tones of reggae, rock, sould and blues music. This is their debut release, and you can catch them at Notes in Newtown on the 4th October!
