Cathy Jordan – All The Way Home
Cathy Jordan, lead singer of traditional Irish band Dervish, has released her debut solo album which has been 20 years in the making. Featuring an array of traditional Irish songs, Cathy’s tingly beautiful voice is the standout feature of the album.

Juliarna Cleal – Espresso
Juliarna Cleal has been involved in a variety of musical acts including Indie pop band The Fakes, Latin Jazz band Fanjazztic and coverband Spin. Espresso is her debut solo jazz release and features soothing sweet jazz bossa nova renditions with hints of Latin and French. A lovely independent release.

Get The Blessing – OC DC
The third album from the UK jazz/rock/trip hop band who feature Portishead’s Jim Barr, Clive Deamer and Adrian Utley on bass, drums and guitar. Grooving basslines, with fine sax solos and trippy pscychadelic moments, OC DC is a great crossover jazz release.

Batida – Batida
The brainchild of Angolan/Portuguese DJ Mpula, this is the debut album from Batida. Featuring samples from 70’s Angolan tracks reborn over hip hop, Kudero, breakbeat, semba, carnival and Afro psychadelia sounds, this is an incredibly fun, addictive and exciting release. For fans of Buraka Som Sistema, this is a must have!
