The Opera Ballet Season is back at Palace Cinemas

ROH_Cinema_Turandot_1sheet_awFor its 4th annual season, Palace Cinemas will play the world’s most sumptuous opera and ballet productions direct from The Royal Opera House, The Royal Ballet, and Opéra National de Paris.

Commencing on 4 October and concluding mid-July 2014, these live performances will take place at Palace Verona and later at completely renovated Palace Norton Street with AIDA from Dec 20.

Captured ‘live’ from these renowned venues and screened via state-of-the-art digital projection with digitally recorded surround sound, the 2013/14 Opera/Ballet season will showcase 17 passionate works from legendary composers such as Puccini, Verdi, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Bellini and Mozart, at a fraction of the original ticket price, guaranteeing the ‘best’ seat in the house every time!

Bringing these timeless productions to life will be a host of the brightest stars of opera and ballet, including Lise Lindstrom and Marco Berti who will perform the key roles TURANDOT, Carlos Acosta, the famous Cuban dancer who will star in DON QUIXOTE, Oksana Dyka who will bring her beauty and talent to the role of AIDA, Natalia Osipova, a principal of The Royal Ballet who will perform GISELLE and Mariusz Kwiecien who will perform the title role in DON GIOVANNI.
