The Transatlantics – Find My Way Home

Eastside Radio’s Album of the Week is Find My Way Home by The Transatlantics.

Based in Adelaide, The Transatlantics have stapled themselves amongst the cream of the Australian crop of soul artists since they started out in 2008.

Find My Way Home is their sophomore album after their acclaimed self-titled debut which was released on the great Freestyle record label, and it sees the ten piece band continue to bowl out 60’s inspired soulful pop music.

Influenced by the likes of The Supremes and Martha and The Vandellas, Find My Way Home is a throwback record brimming with a familiar, warm and personal feel throughout. Overall the album conjures a heartfelt reminiscence of the analogue recording era, all bound together by the group’s honest song-writing skills and easy go style and attitude.

So girls throw on your pinup dresses and fellas don those trilbies and get on down to the sounds of these Aussie soul brothers and sisters!

Find My Way Home is a release by Mecca Records. For more information go to thetransatlantics.com.au
