The JARA: entries close December 6

In association with Eastside Radio 89.7FM, Jazzgroove Association is delighted to announce the inception of the Jazzgroove Association Recording Artist Award, The JARA! A brand new initiative awarding new jazz music and composition.

An emerging or existing composer/performer will receive the JARA recording and promotions package to the value of $10,000 for the creation and presentation of new work to be released through Jazzgroove Records and broadcast of Eastside Radio.

With the top four finalists performing exclusively at the 2012 Jazzgroove Summer Festival in 13-15 January, the winner will be announced on the Sunday of the Festival.

The JARA entries close on December 6!
