Timber! mixes circus with theatre, physical comedy, live traditional music, folklore and the tools of the lumberjack trade. Cirque Alfonse will bring you to their world and integrate you to their family represented by three generations, including their 67-year-old grandad. It’s a show which will surprised all your family, they will be whip-cracking, log-balancing, axe-juggling galore with live banjo-picking. For the first time in Australia, they will present you their amazing and joyous show from Quebec.

Cirque Alfonse is a young troop, but they all have a huge background in circus tradition in Canada. All those professional acrobats come from the national school of circus in Montréal and so you can be sure that their performance will be amazing.

Stucked in a close area, the seven protagonists will use the quebec culture to question a lot of different topics. So now, you can easily understand why the stage will smell the wood and why the characters look like woodcutters, by example. They will be in turns confronted to the isolation, the tolerance, physical effort…

This show is simultaneous a circus and a theatre and also mixes dance, songs and music. And from all this cocktail result a show a poetic master piece of humanity. So this is a happy wedding between poesy, humour and performance.
