Topology – Ten Hands

image007Eastside Radio’s Album of the Week is Ten Hands by Topology

Ten hands, five minds – working together as one. Topology’s “Ten Hands” evolved over nearly four years in the Company’s rehearsal room and independently of one another.

Recording their collective improvisations in rehearsals, each member would then take the recordings away and listen back for their best moments.

At the core of Ten Hands is the concept of communication. Five artists working intensely together to compose, using creative processes as much derived from chamber music, progressive rock, and theatrical improvisation as jazz and indie.

This is wordless communication – hands and music – both universal languages. An emotional landscape of symphonic proportions.

Recorded and mixed by Magoo at his Applewood Lane Studios and mastered by Dave McNeil, “Ten Hands” is, reflective of Topology’s journey over the last 16 years.

Ten Hands is out now and independently released.

Stay closely tuned to Eastside as we are giving away a copy of Ten Hands to a listener every-day this week!
