Two great shows at Foundry 616

The first one is a performance by “The greatest gift to Australian Jazz Vocals in the last decade” (James Morrison), Emma Pask, who gave a remarkable show during The Voice 2 and succeed in convincing her coach, Ricky Martin, that her voice has to be heard all around the world.

Her independent self funded album was number one on the jazz charts for many weeks, and she signed in 2013 with Universal Music. She is now working on her second album, retaining her natural, refreshing and unpretentious, positive approach to life.

So, don’t miss your chance to hear Emma’s wonderful and lively voice, Friday 24th of October 2014 at Foundry 616.

The Second event is a concert by Chiasmus, formed by Joce Moen and Chris Cody. They decided to reconnect now they both are in Sydney, after they worked together for Moen’s first album La Rouge qui Bouge in Paris. Joce’s music defies categorization but draws from jazz, folk, French cafe and blues traditions. Chris Cody began by playing with some of Australia’s leading jazz musicians such as James Morrison and Don Burrows, and thanks to his musical versatility has found expression in a wide variety of work situations.

After both Joce and Chris travelled all around the world, they have finally chosen to come back to Australia, and their duo is full of promise again. So grab your one chance to see them at Foundry 616 on Saturday 25th of October!
