Waverley Mayor Paula Masselos with Paul Neeson

Waverley Mayor, Paula Masselos, talks to Paul Neeson about the lengthy community consultation process and what the changes mean for local artists and community groups.

The plans include an upgrade of the theatre, improved pottery studio and new gallery and exhibition spaces. Plus the long overdue upgrade of the toilets and change rooms.

With work to begin in May 2020 and construction to last 18 months, Paula discusses the challenges of restoring a heritage building and accomodating the community and commercial groups during the process.

More details and plans can be viewed on the Council’s website.
